Adds a meta box to the album edit page with a QR code that, when scanned, links to the album on your site.
The idea is that you can copy and paste or save this image and then use it in materials handed out at your session or event allowing your clients to easily get to their images without having to remember a web address. As an example, the screenshot to the right contains the web address for this website.
This was also built as a very simple plugin to test the plugin system.
After downloading, you can either unzip to your computer and upload the proofbuddy-qr folder into your /wp-content/plugins/ folder or use the WordPress uploader.
What is a QR Code?
The short answer is a 2 dimensional bar code that contains text. Typically you scan the bar code with a smartphone which decodes the text. There are also programs that run on your computer to decode QR codes, but they are not used as often.
Most phones when scanning a QR code that contains a web address will automatically take you to that address.
For the long answer, I’m going to defer to WikiPedia.
