ProofBuddy is available in a free Lite version and a Professional version. The Lite version is free for you to download, install, and use as long as you like at no charge. The Professional version of 2.1, priced at $149.95, allows for unlimited albums and images, optionally watermarks your files, and allows you to create packages and digital download products.
If you would like to have the Pro version of ProofBuddy but either do not have hosting yourself or are not comfortable installing it on your server we also have a hosted option available.

To Register
To register ProofBuddy download and install the Lite version. There will be a 'Register' tab in the administrative section with a link to PayPal and a form to fill out. After you have paid through PayPal simply fill out the form to submit your information and I will send the files needed to convert the Lite version to the Pro version.
Note that registrations are valid for a single domain. If after registering you change domains or would like ProofBuddy on additional domains that are part of your company please contact us.
I'm looking to get an online proofing gallery set up for school portrait clients. I would need to set up packages so that parents would be required to buy a package which includes only one pose out of those they have to chose from in the gallery. After purchasing an initial package, they could then chose other individual items to add on to the package. Would this setup be possible using your pro version? Thanks!
What you're describing isn't really a package, at least not to ProofBuddy. It's a single item that just happens to have multiple prints. To ProofBuddy a package is just a container that can hold multiple images without any restriction on which images.
And I can't think of a way to restrict purchase until after a specific item is purchased. It might be possible with a plugin, and I'll put it on our wish list, but it would be a bit clunky.

How come when I upgraded to the new version it says I have to repay for it; whereas, when I bought it in the first place you said we wouldn't have to repay for it until the new program was in the next gen not the same gen just different upgrades? I bought at 2.0 and now I upgraded to 2.1.01?? Need confirmation please.
We have to update our database as you upgrade from 2.0 to 2.1. It's been done, so you should be set with the same code.
Could you please resend that code to me? I have upgraded computers and my mail server didn't keep the email that you had sent...

I just downloaded the lite program and am about to give it a try. As a photographer starting a business, the pro program sounds awesome and I am thinking about purchasing. Just a couple of questions: I see the customizable position options for watermarking, but does that include watermark size options too? Also, I use a wix.com website where I have just chosen a template and upload the images and customise things. Could proofbuddy be implemented into my site, where my clients go to their proof galleries from my wix site?

The size of the watermark is whatever size image you upload.
Any news on the possibility of http://www.wix.com site integration? If you have a website built with "wix" can you add proof buddy to your site?
Can't happen. Wix doesn't support uploading 3rd party applications like ProofBuddy to their servers.
Where do I get my unlock code?
I have paid and had a PayPal receipt for the payment, but have received no other communication.
I paid for the pro version as I urgently need to get proofbuddy to show more than 100 images.

"Your key could not be validated. Please double check the code with the email you received."

1: About the packages. I would like to offer photo's at set price say €25,- each. And then offer a package of 10 photo chosen by the customer, on CD for €200,-
And every extra photo after those initial 10 should then cost €20,- per photo. Would this be possible?
2: Are there other way's to pay besides paypal?

Yes, you can use whatever currency symbol you like. It's one of the options.
Currently there's not options for other gateways, but it is something we're working on for 3.0.

If my company were to purchase the Pro version would we have access to future "Pro" versions (like 3.0)?
Version 3.0 is going to be a WordPress plugin, and we're planning a different pricing structure. Rather than a pro / free version we're looking at keeping the base version free and then having a series of plugins so you can add the features you want without getting tied up in the features you don't. And the plugins will be a mix of free and paid depending on the plugin.
What we're leaning towards is giving a discount to Pro users of PB2 towards any of the paid plugins.
Is there an eta on the 3.0 plugin?
