It should be the same login info as what you use for phpMyAdmin. Most common issues are either a & or ? in the password or incorrect server name. Some hosts, usually the big ones like GoDaddy, will use separate MySQL servers instead of localhost.

Do you have any special characters in your password like #, &, or ? I've seen that cause problems on some servers.

Hi

I am hosted with godaddy and i am setting up proofbuddy, but i have come to this database page in the installation and i have entered all my information
Database Server: _________.db.(numbers).hostedresourses.com {which is godaddys server for a MySL}
i entered my user name and pw and the database name. and left the prefix as pb

but i am having an error of "cannot connect to database, check server, user name and password"

i am working on a Windows 7 PC. and running internet off Google Chrome and havent had any issues till this point. am i missing something?

Any help would be great.
Thanks

What browser are you using? Mac or PC? Do you see any Javascript errors? Internet Explorer typically puts them down on the bottom right of the window.
