Most common issues are either a & or ? in the password or incorrect server name. Some hosts, usually the big ones like GoDaddy, will use separate MySQL servers instead of localhost. I am hosted with godaddy and i am setting up proofbuddy, but i have come to this database page in the installation and i have entered all my information

i entered my user name and pw and the database name. and left the prefix as pb
