ProofBuddy was started from frustration at not being able to find a proofing solution that was easy to customize.  From the start, the number one goal of ProofBuddy was that the users would be able to customize the client side to exactly fit their needs and match existing sites. 

We accomplised this through a theme system that uses a series of template files.  Most changes can be done through editing of the template files, using a few variables, and editing the CSS.  Advanced customization is possible using PHP through a series of exposed data classes.
