Our documentation site is moving to docs.proofbuddy.com.

We're leaving this section of our site up for the time being, but any updates will occur on the new documentation wiki.

Order

Allows you to set options on how ProofBuddy handles orders.

Minimum Order: The cart value below which ProofBuddy will not allow checkout.

Invoice Format: Allows you to determine how your invoices are formatted. Note that you must include a # in your format as this will be replaced with the actual number. As an example, on order number 159 the default format of W-# will show as W-159.

Order Status Active / Complete / Deleted: Determines what order status ProofBuddy uses. Each set is a comma separated list.

New orders will come into the system with the first option in the Active set. By default this is New. Orders with a status that’s in the Deleted set will not show up in reports.

Payment Types: These fill the list on the view order page where you can add new payments to an order. If you want to allow your clients to pay by chicken, add chicken to this list. This only affects what types of payments you can enter on the admin side however.

Shipping Taxable: Determines whether ProofBuddy calculates tax on shipping or not.

Coupon Length: The number of characters in a coupon code created by ProofBuddy. These are just the defaults and can be overridden when you create a coupon.

Allow Multiple Coupons: Can your clients use more than one coupon? If not, then adding a valid coupon to an order will remove any existing coupons.

Coupon Delimiter: What characters are used to separate coupons when multiple can be entered. Normally the “any” option is your best bet. But if you really want to use colons in your coupon codes then you should select something other than colon.

PayPal enabled: Whether the PayPal button will display on the thanks page, assuming it’s enabled by the theme. If not the button will not show.

PayPal email address: The email address associated with your PayPal account. This is used to tie the order sent to PayPal with your account and must be set correctly if you wish to use PayPal with ProofBuddy.

PayPal URI: 99% sure you can leave this at the default. It’s there just in case PayPal ever changes the path to submit orders to.

PayPal Page: PayPal has an option to allow for multiple payment pages. Very few users know you can do this, and even fewer actually use the option. So unless you are one of the very few, you can leave this blank.
