General Options
The General Options tab contains settings on the general operations of your proofing site.
Like any of the options pages, this page can be affected by plugins and may look different depending on what plugins you have installed.
Allow Comments
Check to allow or disallow comments on your images. Note that it is up to the theme you're using to determine whether this setting is used.
Allow New User Registrations
Check to allow new users to register themselves. They will still need to correctly enter passcodes, but once the passcodes are entered they will stay associated with the user login.
Even if you clear this checkbox you will still be able to create new users through the admin interface.
Site Offline
If you check the site offline option users will not be able to login with passcodes or user accounts. Admin users will still be able to login.
A field will appear if this option is checked allowing you to enter a message to display to visitors when the site is offline.
After Logout
Enter a full web address, including http://, to take your visitors to after they logout. Typically this will be your home page. If this option is left empty your visitors will be taken back to the ProofBuddy login page when they log out.
Cookie Name
The name of the cookie that stores the cart id of your visitors. Generally you won't need to change this.
Time Offset
The number of hours, positive or negative, of your local time zone relative to the time zone of your server.
