Adding Albums

Note that it is up to the theme whether some of these fields are displayed to clients. For example, it is possible for you to select that comments are allowed, but due to the way the theme is written they not show up on the page.
Video
For the visual types, here is a video going through the creation of an album. More information on the settings are below the video.
Title
This is the name of the album that will be used throughout the admin pages and client side.
Passcode
The passcode is the code that clients enter to login to their album. A default passcode will be filled in for you but you are free to use any code you like as long as it is not already in use.
Event Date
The date of the event. This date is not used internally but may be displayed to your clients depending on which theme you are using.
Expiration Date
The date that the album expires. After the expiration date clients will not be able to view their images.
Theme
Allows you to select a theme for this album. If you leave the theme as Default the theme set under Options -> Themes will be used. If you select a theme in this field it will be used for this album.
Allow Comments
Check this to allow commenting on your images.
Client Notes
Notes that are displayed to your clients.
Internal Notes
Notes for you on this album. Typically these are not shown to the client.
