3 comments A new theme is available for ProofBuddy called Daily News. Daily News is based on news websites that have the content area surrounded by a drop shadow.
The Daily News theme also has an optional film strip below the fullsized image that displays thumbnails of all the images in your album. But since it can slow down the page view on albums with many images it is disabled by default. To enable the film strip you’ll need to change the language string show_filmstrip from 0 to 1.

I love this new theme! It’s very user friendly! The only thing that is missing is for the customer to be able to preview the image in B&W.
There’s not a reason that it doesn’t aside from me just not coding it to do so. I got so wrapped up in the design that I simply forgot to add in the links for grayscale and sepia versions. I’ll work on it and see if I can come up with a way to get links to the other versions and keep it looking right in the design.
I’ve updated the Daily News theme with the grayscale & sepia links, added an example custom page that pops up, and put in a few more CSS classes to make it easier to customize. Rather than just overwriting this one though I’ve released it as Daily News 2 in case there are users that would still prefer the version without the color mode links. It’s available either through the Theme Browser inside your admin panel or for download from the blog.
